Clinks Care farm is delighted to announce the opening of the regions only ‘Pick Your Own Cut Flower Garden’. Nestled just off the A143 near Beccles the award winning working farm is an oasis for disadvantaged people, providing a natural therapeutic environment whilst combining the care of the land with the care of the people.
The new cut flower garden embraces this ethos with its swathes of naturalistic, relaxed planting. The large mixture of perennials and annuals grown, planted and tended with the assistance of the farm helpers is a riot of colour, texture and form. The farm has continued its practice of growing without chemicals, and already the bees and butterflies have shown their appreciation.
The brief was simple explains Niamh Mullally, the farms Market Gardener, create a flower garden without formality or rigidity that could be enjoyed by everyone. At only three months old it’s already a success and is open to the public Monday to Saturday 10am to 3.30pm.
